- Discount Details: A discount of 1.5% of the ex-showroom price of the new car or ₹20,000, whichever is less, will be provided.
- Eligibility: To avail of this discount, the old vehicle must be scrapped within the last six months. The scrapping details must be linked to the Vahan system.
- Participating Brands: Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Kia, Honda, Toyota, JSW MG Motor, Renault India, Nissan India, Skoda, and Volkswagen India.
- Additional Notes: This discount is applicable only on the scrapping of old vehicles, and no additional exchange offers can be combined.
Discounts for Commercial Vehicles
Commercial vehicle manufacturers have also rolled out attractive offers under the new policy:
- Discounts for Vehicles Over 3.5 Tonnes: A discount of 3% on the ex-showroom price.
- Discounts for Vehicles Under 3.5 Tonnes: A discount of 1.5% on the ex-showroom price.
- Participating Brands: Tata Motors, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Force Motors, Isuzu Motors, and SML Isuzu.
- Special Offers: Discounts are applicable for a period of two years for commercial vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz Extra Offer
Mercedes-Benz India has sweetened the deal by offering an additional discount of ₹25,000 for those who scrap their old vehicles.
Terms and Conditions
- Scrappage Certificate: Buyers need to provide a valid scrappage certificate to avail of the discount.
- Validity: Discounts for passenger vehicles will be available for one year, while commercial vehicle discounts will be offered for two years.
- No Exchange Discount: Only the scrappage discount is applicable; exchange discounts cannot be combined.
